This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you interact with our services, including our website, social media pages (such as Facebook, Instagram, etc.), applications, and any other platform where we engage with you. 1. Legal Entity Identification

This Privacy Policy governs the services, website and applications (mobile and PC) operated and maintained by DURA ACCESS CONTROL EQUIPMENT CC (trading as D.A.C.E.).

Mobile applications developed and maintained by Dura Access Control Equipment are published on the Google Play Store under our registered developer profile Duraproducts. This Privacy Policy applies to all applications published under the Duraproducts developer account.

2. Information We Collect

We collect various types of information when you interact with us:
Personal Information: We may collect personal information that you voluntarily provide to us when you:

3. Applications (Apps)

This section specifically applies to mobile applications developed, published, or maintained by D.A.C.E. including mobile apps published in application stores such as the Google Play Store under the developer account Duraproducts . These apps include but are not limited to DACE Smart Control, DACE Smart Manager, DACE Virtual Keypad and DACE SiteMate.

Device Permissions: Our mobile applications may request permission to access certain hardware features on your device, including Bluetooth, Wi-Fi status, Location and Camera services, strictly to execute access automation and verification tasks.
App Telemetry & Debugging: To maintain system stability, our apps may collect crash logs, performance diagnostics, and network status data.
Data Storage: Operational parameters and configuration data required for gate motors and hardware switch operations are stored securely on the device and/or our backend services to ensure proper functionality.
DACE Virtual Keypad is strictly used for proximity access control on your mobile device. While the app uses your location information by accessing nearby Wi-Fi, GSM, GPS and Bluetooth devices, no user or location data is transmitted to or kept on any of our servers.
DACE Smart Manager and the associated DACE Wi-Fi Switch as well as DACE Smart Control and the associated DACE Tritek-UC Controller maintains a connection to our servers when connected via a WAN. The WAN connection is needed to allow remote monitoring and control of the module via your mobile device. Data stored on our servers are not shared with any third party (unless required to do so by law) and are kept strictly confidential. DACE Smart Manager uses your camera when enabled to scan your Wi-Fi settings for quick WAN setup, the camera functionality serves no additional purpose.
DACE SiteMate stores the personal information you provide to us on our servers for account verification, management and loyalty reward tracking. We may use this information as described in the sections below.

Access, Collection and Use of Location Data:

Some of our mobile applications (including DACE Virtual Keypad) access, collect, and use device location data (including precise location and background location) to enable core gate automation, switch control, and hardware connectivity features.
The purpose of collecting location data is to support Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) hardware scanning, local Wi-Fi switch discovery, proximity detection, geofencing API management, and automated switch and gate activation.
Location data may be accessed even when the application is closed or not in active use on your screen. This is required to execute background geofence events and trigger seamless gate or switch actions as you approach an authorized hardware installation.
Location data accessed by our applications is used solely for real-time proximity checks and hardware communication. Location data is never transmitted to any of our servers.

4. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for various purposes, including:

Enabling Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), Wi-Fi switch control, and access automation features
